How to claim 200 Max Miles
- On your phone, open our HeyMax link. It opens the App Store or Google Play listing for “HeyMax: Stack Miles & Rewards”.
- Install the app and start sign-up as a new user.
- In the referral code field, check it says B4659926. If it is empty, tap Copy above and paste it. Do this before you finish sign-up. Whether the link pre-fills the code is unconfirmed.
- Verify your phone number in the app.
- Within 180 days, make one purchase through Shop with Max, or buy a voucher paying with cash or card. Any amount counts. Chocolate Finance does not count.
- Wait for the purchase to show Approved. Your 200 Max Miles then appear as pending for 7 days, then post to your balance.
- If the code did not apply, contact HeyMax support through the in-app chat. That is HeyMax’s own advice. HeyMax does not say the code can never be added later.
What HeyMax is (and how it works in Hong Kong)
HeyMax is a Singapore-based travel rewards app. The company is Max Now Pte Ltd. It launched in Hong Kong on 5 November 2025, with Cathay as launch partner. The Hong Kong site is hk.heymax.ai.
You earn Max Miles on top of your normal card rewards when you shop through the app, buy vouchers, or join partner campaigns. HeyMax’s Hong Kong site says 300+ partner brands. Max Miles sit in HeyMax until you move them to a partner programme.
It is a stacking app, not a replacement for a miles card.
How to get your 200 Max Miles welcome bonus
HeyMax’s Referrals FAQ is the source for these rules. The bonus is for new users only: you must never have had a HeyMax account. Rewards under the current structure apply to referees who signed up on or after 1 January 2026.
Within 180 days of sign-up you do two things. Verify your phone number. Make one purchase through Shop with Max, or buy a voucher with cash, and it must show Approved. Any amount counts. Cancelled or refunded orders do not. Chocolate Finance transactions do not. Onboarding tasks, such as adding a card or viewing redemptions, do not.
The reward is created only after both steps are done and the purchase is Approved. It then stays pending for 7 days. Nothing shows at sign-up. Shop with Max purchases can take days to a few weeks to approve. Vouchers confirm instantly, according to HeyMax’s vouchers article.
Fastest route: buy a voucher you would use anyway, paid with cash or card, not with Max Miles. Voucher miles confirm instantly, so that purchase is likely to reach Approved sooner. That is a reading of the vouchers article, not a guarantee.
200 Max Miles on its own is not enough to transfer. Airline transfers start at 1,000 Max Miles and MTR Points start at 300. Think of the bonus as a head start.
What 200 Max Miles (and more) is worth
MTR Points. 300 Max Miles become 9,000 MTR Points, shown by HeyMax as HK$30 of MTR ride offers. That works out to about HK$0.10 per Max Mile on this route (HK$30 ÷ 300). That matches the HK$0.10 per mile assumption on renttomiles. Read what a mile is worth before you treat it as cash.
Asia Miles. 1 Max Mile becomes 1 Asia Mile.
ALL Accor. 3 Max Miles become 2 Reward points. Accor values 2,000 points at EUR 40. That figure stays in euros. This page does not convert it to Hong Kong dollars.
FlyAnywhere. HeyMax says you can redeem Max Miles against any flight. A Singapore help article states 1.8 Singapore cents per Max Mile, paid by PayNow. The Hong Kong rate and payout method are unconfirmed. Check the rate in the app. This page does not print a Hong Kong dollar figure for FlyAnywhere.
HeyMax’s own Hong Kong page estimates one-way economy redemptions at about these Max Mile totals. These are HeyMax’s estimates, not ours: Taipei ~7,000, Bangkok ~9,000, Tokyo ~13,000, Osaka ~13,500, Singapore ~14,000, Dubai ~22,000.
Where Max Miles transfer
HeyMax lists these partners in its help centre. Transfers are free and final. You need a verified HeyMax account and a membership in your own name. The minimum is 1,000 Max Miles per transfer unless a row says otherwise. The partner list says most transfers complete within 1 business day. The Asia Miles page says within 5 business days.

How you earn Max Miles in Hong Kong
Shop with Max. Open a merchant in the app, tap through, and pay as usual. Tracking is usually within 3 days. The purchase then moves from Pending to Approved or Rejected within 90 days. That window depends on the merchant.
Vouchers and gift cards. Buy them in the app. Max Miles are confirmed instantly. HeyMax says voucher purchases are generally processed under MCC 5311 (department stores), so your card may also earn its own points. The final MCC is set by the network and may vary.
Keeta. Keeta vouchers earn Max Miles on HeyMax.
Partner codes. Some partners, including Octopus and Allianz, issue 6-digit codes you redeem in Profile, then Redeem a Code. Those are different from the 8-character referral code B4659926.
Card Maximiser (Hong Kong). You can link Hong Kong-issued Visa cards to track spend and your bank’s card rewards. Mastercard and Amex are not supported yet. It tracks the bank’s rewards, not Max Miles. Past Hong Kong campaigns, including HKTVmall, grocery weekends, and Daily Commute, paid Max Miles on linked Visa spend. Those campaigns are not listed here as live.
Earn Max Miles on rent with Rently
Rently pays your landlord by FPS or by card and adds HeyMax Max Miles on base rent. The landlord does not need to accept cards.
These are the calculator figures with the launch promo off, the same rates published on the Rently guide (rates verified Oct 2026). Rently Card earns Max Miles at HK$12 = 1 on base rent, plus card miles. The card fee is 2.8%. FPS Basic is HK$20 = 1 at 0.4%, Standard is HK$6 = 1 at 1.3%, and Premium is HK$4 = 1 at 2.3%.
Rently’s page, checked 8 Oct 2026, still advertises “First 288 sign-ups: earn 1 mile per HK$2.50” for up to 12 months. Whether places remain is unconfirmed. Read it as Rently’s launch offer for its first 288 sign-ups, and use the promo table on Rently Card vs FPS.
The welcome bonus needs a Shop with Max purchase or a voucher buy. We could not confirm that a Rently rent payment counts as that qualifying purchase, so make one small app purchase to be safe.

HeyMax referral programme: 200, then 500 Max Miles per friend
HeyMax’s Referrals FAQ, checked 8 Oct 2026, sets two tiers. On Explorer you receive 200 Max Miles per qualified referral for referrals 1 to 10. On Jetsetter you receive 500 Max Miles per qualified referral from the 11th onward. The upgrade is automatic after 10 qualified referrals. The count is lifetime. It is not retroactive: the first 10 stay at 200 each. That is 200 per referral for the first 10, not 200 in total.
Your friend gets 200 Max Miles, once. A qualified referral means the friend verifies their phone and makes one Approved purchase via Shop with Max, or buys a voucher with cash, within 180 days of sign-up. Chocolate Finance is excluded. If the 180 days pass with no qualifying purchase, neither side is rewarded.
Both rewards are created when the friend’s purchase is Approved, then pending for 7 days. The structure applies to referees who signed up on or after 1 January 2026. Self-referral is blocked. Devices and payment methods are cross-checked, and rewards are revoked if gaming is found. HeyMax doesn’t publish a cap or end date.
Ten qualified friends are 2,000 Max Miles (10 × 200). Fifteen are 4,500 (2,000 plus 5 × 500). Your own code and link are in the app’s referral section. The exact menu path is unconfirmed.
Before you sign up: things to know
- Max Miles do not expire as long as you open or use the HeyMax app at least once every 12 months. HeyMax’s marketing says they never expire. The precise version is the 12-month use rule, from HeyMax’s Octopus and Allianz FAQs.
- Transfers are final. The name on the partner account must match yours.
- Turkish Airlines and Shangri-La each cap transfers at 50,000 Max Miles a year.
- MTR Points redeemed on MTR Mobile by 31 October 2026 expire on 3 November 2026. Points redeemed from 1 November 2026 to 30 April 2027 expire on 3 May 2027. Do not convert to MTR in late October unless you will spend them within days. HeyMax lists 2993 4375 for the MTR Points transfer.
